about me

I'm Lauren, author of this blog and lover of life. I write here when the world seems too much to bear or God has given me a reason to cry those happy tears. Our lives have ups and downs, some that come faster and harder than we imagined. The written word combined with photos is the best way to freeze those precious moments in time. I document them here for posterity. I want my children to know me, the me I see when I look in the mirror, and the me I have grown to love.

I try to find the beauty and greatness in this world. I know it is there I have seen it many times. There are good people out there, there is inspiration to be found. This is a wonderful life we have been given. As long as I have a camera in my hand and my boys by my side-

 life is good

I write because sometimes its too hard to say. I once told someone that you dont have the luxury of hitting delete in a conversation- so most times I will get my deepest thoughts and fears or joys out here. This is a blog about me and my love for mine- I will always be honest. I will not compete for votes or add space. I will tell it how it is and hope that you love me anyway.
